Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire

The Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire offers all-inclusive air-conditioned suites with one or two king beds, cable TV, telephone, large bathrooms, hair dryers, mini-fridge, room safe and hot water pot with tea and coffee. All meals, drinks and beach activities and entertainment are included in your stay.

• Standard Junior Suites have 559 square feet complete with sitting area with views of the ocean canal (laguna) or looking over the pool at the turquoise Caribbean.
• Larger and luxuriously renovated Grand Suites afford guests even more room and luxuries with either laguna view or ocean views along Plaza’s beachfront.
• New Double Bedroom Laguna Suites are the newest rooms featuring 2 bedrooms with a connecting hall, each with its own king bed and private bathroom. Perfect for couples, families or two people wanting their own rooms.

All suites have furnished patios or balconies. Housekeeping is provided and free wi-fi is available throughout the resort.

Toucan Diving is the Plaza’s PADI 5-star, Gold Palm and IDC facility — with rentals, sales and instruction for all levels and languages. Daily two-tank and one-tank boat trips are offered (with 12 divers max) on their modern Island Hoppers, along with weekly night dives. Toucan’s new Silver Surfer custom twin hull can take up to 20 guests for special excursions.

Shore diving with 24-hour tank access at the beach and at the Tipsy Seagull dock accessing the Plaza’s own “18 Palms” dive site is available for guests (great snorkeling here too). You’re close to southern shore dive and snorkel sites only minutes away by car.

Your stay at the Plaza includes all-you-can-eat meals and drinks! Plaza’s guests enjoy a brand new oceanfront restaurant with daily breakfast, lunches and dinners. Served buffet-style, guests can select one of several live-cooking stations including a steakhouse-style open flame grill, sushi and sashimi counter, and a fresh seafood station where you can select the day’s catch, grilled and prepared as desired.
