Payments

Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex and money orders accepted. We cannot be responsible for cancellations due to failure of customer to meet payment deadlines as noted on your Reservation Details.

Proof of Citizenship

Passports are required for all U.S. and Canadian citizens of all ages. All other nationalities should consult with the airline they are traveling with or the Bonaire Tourist Office for passport and visa requirements.

Bonaire Entry Tax

A Bonaire Entry Tax must be paid by all visitors ($75.00 per adult; $10.00 per child 12 and under). This can be paid 7 days or less before arrival at https://tourismtax.bonairegov.com/ or may be purchased at the airport (with assistance) upon your arrival.

Marine Park Fee

All visitors are required to pay a $40.00 per person (free for children under 12 years old) Nature Fee for access to the Bonaire Marine Park — essentially all of Bonaire’s waters (scuba divers, snorkelers, kite and windsurfers, swimmers, kayakers and all other users; good for one calendar year). Cancellation Policy

Please review the following policy carefully before making your reservation.

Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable. However, deposits are transferable and may be applied toward a different booking if you wish to reschedule your trip (subject to supplier availability and any applicable fare differences).

Payment Due Date: After your deposit, the remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 45 days before your arrival date. Failure to submit full payment by this deadline will result in the cancellation of your reservation. If you book your trip less than 45 days before your arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation Penalties: Each supplier that BonairePros works with has its own cancellation policy. You are subject to the cancellation policies of each supplier included in your travel package. Supplier cancellation policies vary regarding the amount forfeited upon cancellation. Typically, penalties increase the closer the cancellation date is to your travel date. Customers who cancel within 30 days of their travel date will not receive a refund.

Rescheduling: We do not charge a fee to reschedule your trip to different dates, provided you and the relevant supplier[s] confirm availability. If you reschedule your trip, you are responsible for all fees, penalties, or cost differences charged by the supplier[s] for changing travel dates. If you reschedule your trip, your deposit will be transferred and applied to the new booking.

How to Cancel or Request Changes: All cancellations and change requests must be submitted in writing via email to team@bonairepros.com.

Inquire with your agent with any questions as to specific supplier penalties of your vacation plan.
You can price and purchase travel insurance coverage online – cancellation, trip interruption or delay, baggage delay or loss … insurance is highly recommended. We suggest Travel Guard at www.travelguard.com .

It is the responsibility of the organizer/person who pays the initial deposit to share these terms and conditions with all members traveling as part of his/her Travel Package.

Car Rental

Insurance, gas, additional driver fees or any additional charges above basic rental rates are not included and are payable upon return of vehicle unless noted otherwise on your confirmation. Driving is on the right hand side; foreign licenses accepted. Must be 25 or older to rent.

Special Requests

We can request but cannot guarantee specific room locations or bedding configurations. We’ll make every effort to meet your requests — please let us know well in advance of any special room requests, locations and type/size/number of beds you prefer. Be sure and contact your airline for advance seat assignments.

Responsibility

Bonaire Pros and its agents arrange travel, lodging, transportation, recreation and other services advertised and render these services only as an agent for the customer and shall not be liable for any injury, accident, loss or inconvenience resulting from weather, labor dispute, government action, act of God, war, or other military conflict, or nonperformance of contracted service by supplier; nor is it liable for any injuries from the various recreations or any act by person or company providing services for the customer. Should individual suppliers of the customer’s vacation plan including accommodations, rental cars, activity operators or equipment rental providers that cannot fulfill requested or confirmed components of the vacation plan, customer will be advised accordingly by our office upon notification from supplier with alternatives for the customer or compensation for undelivered services.

Acknowledgement of Risk

It is understood and acknowledged that travel in connection with and participation in the Travel Package arranged at my request by BonairePros may involve risk and potential exposure to injury and possibly death. Client specifically acknowledges and recognizes the potential for injury and death which can result from swimming, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, windsurfing including the malfunction of equipment, the natural environment, animal or sea life, currents and other changing conditions, decompression sickness, embolism or other hyperbaric injuries. Client realizes and acknowledges that diving with compressed air, Nitrox, tri-mix, or other gases involves certain risks and requires specific training. Client certifies that they have been properly trained for the breathing mixture(s) and/or activities and understands the risks involved. Client also realizes and acknowledges that risk and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the employees, contractors, subcontractors, officers or agents of vacation suppliers or the negligence or participation of other participants, contractors and/or subcontractors. Client also recognizes and acknowledges that risk and dangers may arise from foreseeable and unforeseeable causes.

Express Assumption of Risk & Responsibility

In recognition of the inherent risk of the travels and related activities in which I am intending to engage, I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the activity that I choose and that I alone am responsible for my own activities while engaged in activities such as SCUBA diving and land and sea activities. I am willingly and knowingly electing to participate in this Travel Package in spite of the potential risk of danger and I willingly and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage suffered by me or caused by me, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the owner, directors, agents, officers, employees, contractors or subcontractors of BonairePros.

Release of Liability

In consideration of the services and arrangements provided by BonairePros, I, for myself and for my heirs, personal representatives or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and agree to indemnify BonairePros and its owner, officers, directors, agents, contractors, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, lost profits, consequential, exemplary, indirect or punitive damages or otherwise which may arise out of or occur during my travel in connection with the scheduled Travel Package and any activities conducted in conjunction therewith. I SPECIFICALLY UNDERSTAND THAT I AM RELEASING, DISCHARGING AND WAIVING ANY CLAIMS OR ACTIONS THAT I MAY HAVE PRESENTLY OR IN THE FUTURE FOR THE ACTIONS, AS MY AGENT, OF THE OWNER, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS OR SUBCONTRACTORS OF BonairePros.

Acceptance of the travel plan reserved and paid by the customer shall constitute his/her acceptance of this limitation of liability.
