Bonaire boat and shore diving is offered at Bonaire dive shops typically as one of 3 different packages. All include tanks, weights and belts.

• Unlimited Shore Dive Package – An unlimited tanks and air-fills package for shore diving. This is also included with most boat dive packages. If you buy an unlimited shore dive package, you may book boat dives a la carte with the dive shop (at a discount) once you are on Bonaire.
• 1-Tank Daily Boat Dive Package – A boat dive package of a 1-tank boat dive per day with unlimited shore diving for the day.
• 2-Tank Daily Boat Dive Package – A boat dive package with 2 tanks of boat dives per day with unlimited shore diving for the day. These are typically two 1-tank boat trips and operate as a morning boat trip followed by an afternoon boat trip, although some shops offer a 2-tank boat trip.

Unlimited use of tanks and air fills are a part of most multi-day Bonaire dive packages and this ‘unlimited shore diving’ aspect to a Bonaire dive vacation is what sets Bonaire apart in the dive travel world. Most shops offer tanks for shore diving 24 hours a day, with easy drive-up access. NITROX fills are a readily available option.

Bonaire dive operations typically offer daily morning and afternoon boat departures, with night dives scheduled once or twice a week. With so many dive sites within a 15-20 minute boat ride coupled with shore diving’s ease and popularity, it’s no wonder that boat diving on Bonaire is among the least expensive in the Caribbean. Most boat trips are one-tank, although some dive operators offer a two-tank boat trip. Guided shore dive excursions can be arranged at many of the dive shops.
