studios, one and two bedroom Lac Bay Apartments and
the Lac Bay Villa offer an affordable
and peaceful alternative away from the crowds. The 14
apartments and villa all offer balconies or
patios facingthe private beach
cove and bay or the surrounding nature area.
The units feature fully equipped kitchens,
CD players and air-conditioned bedrooms. Housekeeping
is provided.
Guests and
locals alike enjoy the award-winning Kontiki Beach
Club Restaurant and Bar, serving breakfast, lunch,
and dinner each day. Owners Miriam and Martin also
manage the entire property with attentive service. Families are
welcome and there is a small play area for little ones
as well as Kontiki’s quiet beach with shade and
chairs. Local artists and musicians of
the Bonaire Jazz Foundation display their talents at Kontiki throughout
the year.
Native flora and
tropical gardens encircling the Kontiki grounds – along
with the unspoiled views and stunning colors of
Lac Bay -- create a tranquil haven. Coupled with its superb
dining and convenient location, (only 3 minutes drive to
the windsurf centers and 15 minutes to Kralendijk, dive shops
